July arrived with all the things I love most: cosy nights, birthday celebrations and the perfect excuse to indulge in a few new discoveries.
Not everything that lands on my desk becomes a favourite, but every now and then a handful of products refuse to leave my routine.
As a proud Leo, July always feels like the perfect excuse to romanticise absolutely everything.

Morning coffee tastes better, online shopping somehow becomes “birthday research”, and suddenly every new beauty launch or clever gadget feels like a justified little treat.
This month delivered some absolute gems.
From skincare that’s rescued my makeup during long office days to a shower light that’s turned my nightly routine into a spa ritual, plus a wellness gadget I’ve become completely attached to, these are the products that earned permanent spots in my everyday life.
Consider this my Leo season edit of the finds that made life a little easier, a little glowier and a whole lot more fun.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir, $90 from Sephora
I’ve loved this facial mist for years, but somehow I’d forgotten just how good it is until recently.
The office air-conditioning has been absolutely ruthless on my skin, leaving my makeup looking tired well before the afternoon slump hits. Instead of piling on more powder, I’ve been reaching for this mist and it’s completely changed the game.
If you think your skin is oily, don’t write off face mists. A light spritz can refresh makeup without making your complexion feel heavy, while giving your face that much-needed afternoon pick-me-up.
The formula is made with 100 per cent natural-origin ingredients and has that instantly recognisable blend of mint, rosemary and rose essential oils that smells like you’ve walked into a luxury spa. It preps skin before makeup, refreshes throughout the day and helps everything look more radiant.

SUNA LIGHT Shower Light, $54.99 from Sunalowlight
Instagram definitely got me with this one.
I’m definitely part of the “don’t turn on the big light” club. Bright overhead lighting has never been my thing. Give me warm, cosy lighting every single time.
This Australian-designed shower light has completely transformed my evening routine. Instead of harsh bathroom lighting, it creates a soft amber glow that instantly makes winding down feel more relaxing.
It attaches with a suction cup, is rechargeable and lasts for weeks on a single charge. There are colourful lighting modes if you’re feeling playful, but the warm 1800K amber setting is where it shines.
It’s become part of my nightly ritual and genuinely helps signal that it’s time to switch off.

Meta Glasses Starfire Kylie Edition, $629
I know these divide opinion, but I’ve absolutely loved wearing them.
Initially, I’ll admit it was the diamonte detailing and shape on my face that won me over. They’re just incredibly cute.
What surprised me most was how much I use the audio features. I listen to audiobooks during my walks, catch up on playlists and can simply ask “Hey Meta” for things like the weather without reaching for my phone, and then it’s like Kylie Jenner is speaking directly in my ear. “It’s 20 degrees and sunny in Sydney.” Thanks, Kylie.
The charging case also deserves its own moment. It’s beautifully designed, includes a built-in mirror and even stores the cleaning cloth.
I haven’t explored the camera features very much, but I do appreciate the built-in privacy indicator light, which flashes while recording and is designed to let others know when video is being captured.
They’re divisive; they’re also fun to wear, and as I mentioned, privacy is paramount and will not be tampered with on my watch (or sunnies).

MECCA COSMETICA Weekend Skin Hydra Tint SPF50, $60
This product has completely converted me.
I’m religious about applying vitamin C followed by SPF50 every single morning, so discovering a tint that combines both into one step felt like someone had read my mind.
It’s lightweight, breathable and leaves my skin looking naturally radiant without feeling like traditional foundation.
I’ve lost count of how many people have complimented my skin while I’ve been wearing it.
For someone who normally reaches for full-coverage makeup, that’s saying something.
I genuinely can’t believe I’m now choosing a skin tint over foundation. Who even am I?

Dental Boutique x Dental Health Week Check Up
It had been far too long since I’d booked a proper dental check-up, so Dental Health Week felt like the perfect reminder to finally make the appointment.
Walking into Dental Boutique Sydney CBD felt more like arriving at a luxury hotel than a dental practice. The interiors are beautifully designed, the team was welcoming and efficient, and the whole experience felt far less intimidating than I’d built it up to be.
Dental Health Week is an important reminder that regular dental check-ups play a key role in maintaining good oral health. Research commissioned by Oral-B found that 83 per cent of Australians experience some level of dental fear or anxiety, highlighting why encouraging preventative dental care remains so important.
For anyone who’s been putting off making an appointment, consider this your sign.

DORE AND ROSE Deep Sleep Mask, was $93 now $74
Sleep has become one of my biggest priorities.
The older I get, the more I appreciate creating a proper bedtime routine, and I’ve realised I simply sleep better with an eye mask.
This one is generously sized, incredibly soft and made from 23 momme mulberry silk that feels luxurious against the skin.
It gently blocks out light without feeling restrictive and the adjustable strap means it stays comfortably in place throughout the night.
Putting it on has become the signal my brain recognises that it’s time to switch off.
Now I can’t imagine sleeping without it.

Oura Ring 5, $799
Anyone who knows me knows this was always going to make the list.
I’m asked about my Oura Ring constantly, whether it’s friends, colleagues or complete strangers.
When Oura announced a slimmer design, I knew I’d be upgrading immediately and it has exceeded every expectation.
The new design is noticeably lighter and more comfortable, making it even easier to wear all day and night.
I enjoy using it to monitor things like my sleep, activity levels and menstrual cycle insights, and I find it fascinating seeing the trends that build over time through the app. The battery life is also impressive, lasting several days between charges.
It’s become part of my daily routine in the same way I wouldn’t leave the house without my keys or phone.
Safe to say, this tiny ring has become one of my favourite pieces of everyday tech.
